Sometimes its good to make a change from Carnivore to herbivore ; when ever we dine out we are very much biased on non -veg .On today’s food ride we decided to amend our routine and tried this budget friendly ,Vegetarian Indian restaurant for our lunch ‘DOSA PLAZA’ located in Mussafah ,Abudhabi .This simple restaurant is a perfect dine out for families who wish to dine peacefully without bustle from the city.
As the name implies it has a vast varieties of ‘Dosa‘ to order ,but for us we normally have dosa from home , so we prefer to try other items on menu.
I’m not a person who is crazy over Kabab but this ‘Hara Bara Kabab’ which we tried is a game changer ,its very simple yet delicious appetizer ,pure blend of Potatoes ,spinach and spices served with 2 chutneys/sides , Cost 15 Aed for 6 pieces of Kabab. Friends , if you have not tried this , keep this an option to add onto your bucket list .
Then we ordered ‘Punjabi Thali ‘ & ‘Bomaby Meal’ .
If you’ve never heard of ‘Thali’, means a round tray or a plate, is typically an Indian meal made up of assortment of various dishes. This selection of dishes varies from region to region in India. Here we tried Punjab Thali which has rice ,vegetable-curry,paneer-curry ,dal ,butter naan ,pappad, pickle ,raita ,salad and gulab jamun dessert. All cooked in perfection with decent quantity.Cost 22 AED.
For Bombay Meal – it has rice , dal , veg-curry ,raita ,butter naan, pappad , the rice and everything are same for both , only differences are Bombay Meal doesn’t have Paneer-curry and Gulab Jamun Dessert.Cost 17 AED.
It was great to explore a budget restaurant within the locality .
See you all in my next food journey 🙂
