Our Mothers are always precious, no matter who we are, what age we have, where we from or what work we do… they have played an integral part in our life for making us who we are now. Their sacrifices are the building stone of our success. On this Mothers day occasion I thank each and every mother for all the extraordinary things you have done in our life.

As part of mothers day event De’Longhi and Jashanmal -Dubai Mall team has invited me for a cooking event demonstrated by one of my blogger friend Abigail using DeLonghi MultiFry Multicooker machine and also we got a chance to prepared the recipes and could learnt on how to use the machine.



When I got the invite I was really confused just because of the hectic travel from Abudhabi and decided to gave a green signal. The demo started at 11:00, I was there on sharp time just like other mommy bloggers. In this demo Abigeli clearly explained about the machine and its functionalities and gave us 2 dishes to choose for cooking, Mushroom Risotto and Italian Sponge Cake, without a double thought I picked my favorite CAKE, you know I am a devotee of cake from childhood 🙂 and I stood in front of the machine with the apron .It was the first time I extended my cooking skills outside my kitchen and was really excited.




We used  DeLonghi MultiFry Multicooker for cooking both dishes, It’s an innovative cooking appliance combining a low-oil fryer and a multicooker in 1 gadget to meet each and every need for all kitchens. It enables you to prepare variety of dishes with minimum oil like potato fries,Pizza, Stew and many more also can bake cake as well .Cooking time and temperature can be toggled using buttons for flexible cooking.


This is how it works : Choose Your recipe on the dial, Place the food in the bowl, Program the cooking time, Start, Check the Cooking Progress and enjoy your meal 🙂 

For my cake after mixing the batter, we poured it into the greased and floured ceramic pan without the mixing paddle in place. Selecting the Cake function from the dial, it showed a cooking time of 25 minutes on the temperature level of two and we started the program. I felt the noise was less when compared to conventional baking techniques. Transparent top portion of the lid made it easy to check on cooking progress, it’s also handy that the lid can be fully opened to check in between– and while doing so, it can pause the program.Most importantly it doesn’t need to Preheat so it’s pretty easy that you can get into the cooking straight away.


The cake came out was perfectly baked, my soft fluffy cake from Multicooker 🙂 



And for risottos and stew it has a mixing paddle which can stir automatically with very less oil. It can cook from two directions one is the element below, and the other is fan above, So it can distribute heat equally to all parts of food.De’Longhi’s exclusive SCS (Surround Cooking System) technology is applied here.
