Located on the ground floor near to “Home Box” at Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai is Delifrance French Cafe, a contemporary chic cafe with red and white color theme and trendy decor which is an open dine French cafe offering array of delicious menu not just limited to adults (they have launched a brand new children menu).

About : Delifrance is one of the leading French bakery since 1984, has Retail Franchise International holds 400 outlets in 13 countries. They produces and sells 1,000 different bread, viennoiserie, patisserie, and savory products.
In UAE you can find Delifrance in 2 locations- Dubai Mall and Ibn Battuta Mall(near to metro) and we picked Ibn battuta to satisfy our french cravings.
The interiors with open glassed kitchen and bread making is unique to this restaurant. this particular restaurant has access from the exterior of the mall too (close to one of the mall entrance).
We started placing our order with DeliFrance Signature Hot Chocolate(18 dhs), Latte(18 Dhs) and Chocolate Smoothie (22 dhs), these drinks had recharged our battery to start the french hunt :-d , followed by fresh breads and dips. Bread basket had many varieties and I loved the one which has raisins inside.
We started digging on the menu for Starters, we picked Beef and Avocado Salad (44 dhs), this is one of my favorite dish of the night a simple salad with balanced dressing along with crunchy veggies and Steak was a great start.
Hot Sandwiches – Grilled Chicken and Mixed Vegetables : Ciabatta (40 dhs)
From their exclusive kids menu we picked my little ones favorite Chicken Burger (32 dhs) with fries, good that he was totally indulging in coloring and yummy burger.
Please Note: Dinner Time at Delifrance invites children to enjoy a complimentary juice and a scoop of ice-cream or fruit salad with every children’s main meal ordered between 3.30-6pm daily.
The hostess was very friendly and helped in picking the best from the menu, as per their suggestion we tried Asian Chicken (80 Dhs). Full marks to the appearance of this dish 🙂 it was totally eye- appealing, the piece of chicken breast was cooked to perfection with exotic salad, mushrooms was a grant treat for eyes and tongue. I do recommend to try this as well.
Next from the menu we picked Rib Eye Fillet (95 Dhs) , grilled filled served with vegetables and sauce was not a great dish for my palate.
The highlight of French cuisine is always Dessert, I wish they can add more innovative items around this area.
Here are our picks
Dates and Hazzelnut Croissant (15 dhs)
Caramel Eclair (12 dhs)
Strawberry Pistachio Dacquoise ( 28 dhs, this won our hear in terms of presentation and flavors)
We truly enjoyed exploring a new french cafe in Dubai, and special mention to Bashral and Vishal for their warm service.
